Sony Xperia 1 VII

Finding a phone with a headphone jack is already tricky enough. Finding a good, high-end one is even more complicated. This is what makes the Sony Xperia 1 VII such a special phone.

The Xperia 1 VII comes with all the great benefits of a modern high-end device. The construction and design are both solid and elegant. You’ll also get premium performance, coming with some of the latest and greatest internals. The camera system really excels in its own ways. We love its advanced manual controls, super-fast autofocus, and other video features.

Some of the specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB of RAM, and an LTPO OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a 5,000mAh battery inside, and a triple-camera system.

Our only gripe with the Sony Xperia 1 VII is that it didn’t launch in the USA. If you live in a market where it’s available, though, it is likely your best bet if you want a premium handset with a 3.5mm headset jack.

ASUS ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro

If you’re looking for one of the best gaming phones, it’s hard to beat the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series. This includes the ASUS ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro.

All things considered, both devices are very similar. They both feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a nice 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, and a 5,800mAh battery with 65W charging. They also offer plenty of RAM; the ROG Phone 9 offers your pick between 12GB and 16GB, while the ROG Phone 9 Pro is available with 16GB or a whopping 24GB of RAM. Of course, all these great specs make these some of the best phones with a headphone jack.

Additionally, both have gaming-focused enhancements, such as capacitive trigger buttons, and even a cool Mini-LED matrix light grid in the back. There are some slight differences to keep in mind, though. The main one is that these have different camera systems, with the Pro model taking the lead.

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G now has a successor, the Galaxy A16 5G, but that phone no longer comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. That means that if you want a good, affordable handset with a headphone jack, you might have to settle with the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. That said, it is still a good budget phone.

This and the Samsung Galaxy A25, in the next section, are the last devices from Samsung to come with a headphone jack, at least in the US.

Aside from the handy headphone jack, you will get a nice 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 6100+ chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. Charging is not impressive at 25W, it has no wireless charging, and features no IP rating. With that price point, though, you can’t really complain about these things.

In our Samsung Galaxy A15 5G review, we gave the phone props for its great OLED screen, awesome battery life, nice build quality, and nice update promise. That said, the phone is still a budget phone, and it definitely made some sacrifices. Performance isn’t as good as we’d prefer, and the secondary cameras are pretty bad. Also, it has a single mono speaker that doesn’t do much to satisfy us. That said, considering the ultra-low price, we still think this is among the best phones with a headphone jack.

Galaxy A15 5G specs:

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G

If the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G isn’t enough for you, there’s also the Samsung Galaxy A25. It is a slightly better budget phone, and it also happens to have a 3.5mm headset jack. Of course, you’ll have to pay a slightly higher price of $300.

The extra Benjamin will get you a better Exynos 1280 processor, 6-8GB of RAM, a similar-sized screen with better 120Hz refresh rates, and an improved ultrawide 8MP camera. Otherwise, it’s almost the same phone as the Galaxy A15 5G.

During our testing, we found that the device has a pretty cheap plastic build, has no IP rating, and the fingerprint reader can be inconsistent. That said, we think it is a worthy contender if you want a 3.5mm headset jack. It has a great 120Hz display, awesome stereo speakers, and keeps Samsung’s class-leading update commitment of four OS upgrades.

By the way, this one also has a successor, the Galaxy A26, but again, it has no headphone jack.

Galaxy A25 specs:

ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra

ASUS is known for making some of the best phones with a headphone jack, and it didn’t fail us with the ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra. No longer is the phone small, and the overall feature set has been taken to the next level. It’s also now priced as a high-end phone!

During our ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra review, we found that the phone has amazing performance, thanks to the addition of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12-16GB of RAM. We also loved its battery life, fast charging, and AI enhancements. Not to mention, the design is super sleek and fun, thanks to the available colorways.

Overall, it is a really nice phone. Its price makes it hard to compete against other high-end phones, but if you’re looking for a high-end phone with a headset jack, this one is definitely among the best options.

Zenfone 12 Ultra specs:

If you’re into gaming phones, here’s another proposition. The REDMAGIC 10 Pro is a high-end phone for gaming and intensive tasks. It’s also pretty affordable compared to most of the competition. You can currently get one from Amazon for as low as $749, but it has specs that compete against the very best.

Performance will not be an issue. The device comes with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12-24GB of RAM. The AMOLED display measures 6.85 inches and features a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. And because this is a gaming phone, you will also get a built-in cooling fan. Not to mention, it has pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons.

Another amazing thing about this device is its battery, which is larger than usual at 7,050mAh, which can charge at 100W, beating most high-end devices in the market. This is quite the phone, right? And of course, you’ll get that 2.5mm headset jack!

By the way, there is a successor now, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro, but that one is still really hard to find.

Moto G Stylus (2025)

There are few options for those who like using a stylus. Of course, there’s the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but that phone is mighty expensive and doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headset jack. Those looking for a more affordable phone with a headphone jack and an included stylus can go for the Moto G Stylus (2025). The $399.99 phone offers a nice proposition considering the price point.

Let’s start with the things we like. Despite being so affordable, the device can charge pretty fast at 68W wired or 15W wirelessly. We also love the design, which offers a vegan leather look and feel that is kind of timeless. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate. NFC support is also nice, something many budget phones lack.

The rest of the phone is still pretty decent. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and 8GB of RAM will do pretty well keeping up with your tasks. Battery life should be pretty good, considering the phone isn’t as resource-intensive, it still has an IP68 rating, and get this, it even has a MIL-STD-810H rating!

Moto G Stylus (2025) specs:

Samsung’s budget phones are great, so we wanted to give Motorola fans an option. The Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2025) won’t win any awards, but it does come with a headphone jack and is a pretty good deal at just $299.99.

Despite its super low price, it has a large 6.8-inch display with a Full HD+ display and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It has a more modest MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and 8GB of RAM. The rest of the phone is just as modest. You’ll get a couple of cameras (50MP and 8MP), a 5,000mAh battery, and 30W wired charging, as well as 15W wireless charging speeds.

We love that it still has that sleek design, with colorful options, and that vegan leather back that is now iconic of Motorola phones.
